10 years working to offer the best experience

On April 11, we commemorated a decade of tourism excellence with a memorable event that brought together more than 200 people. Among the attendees were representatives of Andalusian institutions and companies, leaders of the tourism sector and members of the media who did not want to miss the celebration of our tenth anniversary.

The celebration began with an emotional institutional act, where Marta Cañete, our director, shared with the guests the exciting trajectory of the resort in its ten years of operation, highlighting the recent renovations that have improved the guests’ experience. This was followed by the intervention of different political authorities of the Mancomunidad.

The territorial delegate of Tourism in Huelva, Teresa Herrera, praised the resilience of AMA Islantilla Resort over the years. She highlighted our crucial role in boosting tourism in Huelva, emphasizing that hospitality is a fundamental factor in attracting visitors.

Ana Delgado, deputy of Tourism and president of the Destino Huelva Agency, congratulated our entire team for our tenth anniversary as well as for our innovative approach. Designed to break with seasonality in the region. Francisco Zamudio, first deputy mayor and delegate in Mancomunidad for Isla Cristina, recognized the work of all workers in the tourism sector of Islantilla, highlighting their contribution to the success of the destination.

Mariana Otero, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Lepe and Vice President of the Mancomunidad de Islantilla, praised our efforts to achieve high quality standards and constantly improve our services. The Mayor of Isla Cristina, Jenaro Orta, highlighted the hotel’s role in job creation and job stability in the region.

Adolfo Verano, first deputy mayor of Lepe, praised AMA as a benchmark of quality in the Islantilla area and a first class tourist destination.

AMA Islantilla Resort opened its doors in August 2014 and since then we have undergone significant investment to renovate our facilities. The last one, carried out in January of this year, included improvements to the buffets, the Fandado restaurant and the resort’s reception. Since the beginning, we have worked tirelessly to offer the best experience to our guests.

The event culminated with a lively cocktail party in the garden, where our guests enjoyed the resort’s delicious cuisine and a live musical performance by Danielyshow. Without a doubt, AMA Islantilla Resort continues to be a benchmark of tourism excellence in the Huelva region, and our tenth anniversary marks a decade of achievement and continued success.
